Did you know?  Their unusual pink color gets brighter when they’re excited or playful, almost like they’re blushing. They are incredibly flexible, able to turn their heads side to side and even swim upside down to maneuver through flooded forests. Many Amazonian tribes believe pink dolphins are magical beings that can transform into handsome men at night, often said to enchant and seduce women before returning to the river. In some traditions, this story was also used to explain unexpected pregnancies or babies born out of wedlock.
